At Crestholm Farm, things have always been made with care. For more than 100 years, this family farm has grown, adapted, and welcomed neighbors through every season. This year marks a brand new chapter in that story: fresh, homemade baked goods.
If you’ve stopped by recently, you’ve probably noticed something happening. The pies, breads, cookies, and other baked treats don’t stay on the shelves for long. In fact, they seem to disappear almost as fast as they’re set down.
According to Shawn, the family member behind the baking, that’s both exciting and humbling.
“When I put a pie in the stand… it’s not just a pie. It’s a legacy.”
Those aren’t just words. Every pie is made using original family recipes that have been passed down through generations. Nothing is trucked in or mass-produced. Everything is baked right here in the farm’s kitchen using the same homemade approach that’s been part of the Crestholm tradition for decades.
The popularity has been incredible, and we’re grateful for every person who has stopped by to support this new venture. At the same time, we want everyone to know that our kitchen is still a little farm kitchen, not a commercial bakery.
That means there are only so many pies, cookies, breads, and pastries that can come out of the oven each day.
When they’re gone, they’re gone.
To keep things fair for everyone, all baked goods are available on a first come, first served basis. We are not accepting special orders at this time. We’d love to say yes to everyone, but we’d rather stay true to the quality and traditions that make these recipes special than rush the process.
There’s something wonderful about knowing the pie you picked up this morning was mixed, rolled, and baked just a few hours earlier by the family that’s been caring for this farm for more than a century.
It’s more than dessert.
It’s more than fresh bread.
It’s a recipe book that’s been loved for generations, a kitchen filled with flour and laughter, and a family continuing a legacy one pie at a time.
So if you’ve been thinking about stopping by, don’t wait too long. The baked goods have developed quite the reputation, and around here, they tend to fly out the door almost as quickly as they come out of the oven.
Come early, grab your favorites, and taste a little piece of Crestholm Farm history. 🍎🥧
