The Story Behind Crestholm Farm
Crestholm Farm Stand has always been more than just a place to grab fresh veggies. It’s been a cornerstone of the Oxford, Maine community. Nestled just three miles south of the Oxford Plains Speedway on Route 26, this fifth-generation family farm has been serving up local flavor with a side of small-town charm for over 30 years.
Started by the Hall family, Crestholm is all about tradition, sustainability, and good old-fashioned hard work. From sun-ripened produce and vibrant flowers to handmade pine furniture and locally crafted goods, everything at the stand reflects their deep-rooted passion for quality and community. It’s not just farm-to-table, it’s family-to-neighbor.

Opening Day 2026: Celebrating 37 Years!

We’ve been a part of the Oxford community for nearly four decades, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome you back for our 37th season! Whether you’re a lifelong regular or a first-time visitor, we’ve been working hard all winter to make this our best opening yet.
What’s New at the Stand?
We’ve taken "spring cleaning" to a whole new level this year! We’ve performed major upgrades across the farm to make your visit even better:
The Farm Stand Bakery is Open: We’ve converted our former ice cream room into a fully-equipped bakery. From now on, our famous whoopie pies and treats are made right here from scratch using our favorite family recipes.
Greenhouse Refresh: Our main greenhouse has brand-new benches for the first time in 15 years, the perfect backdrop for our massive selection of hanging baskets and perennials.
New Farm Faces: Come say hello to the newest members of the Crestholm family! We have four new goat kids in the barn, with more expected to arrive just in time for opening day.
Opening Day Special Guest
We’re thrilled to announce that Smokin’ Dave’s Backyard BBQ will be joining us on opening day, rain or shine! Come hungry and grab some of the best BBQ in Maine while you shop for your spring plantings.
